  tl;dr - burger good. fries not. staff not prepared. creepy dude in back.
  
  Just came back from lunch here. I ordered 40 Creek BBQ Bacon burger combo. The burger was tasty, cooked well, beauty. The fries were a bit raw. Not a single crispy fry in the whole meal is never a good sign. They were kinda soggy, kinda raw potato-y tasting. This takes one star away from my rating.
  
  The second star I've left off is from the confusion with the staff. There were three beauty's in blue waiting for their meals while I was there. One of them was waiting for a meat patty for at least 5 minutes - and the staff was looking for a burger that didn't exist to put a patty on. I hope she made it back to work on time! Also, there was what I'm guessing what the manager, running around, being confused about burgers - and then another man in the back dressed the same as the manager, but just creepily staring at the staff and the customers. Not sure if this is the owner, possibly keeping an eye on the new staff to see how people are doing, that would make sense. The way he was just standing in the corner eyeballing everyone really brought a weird vibe to the place though.

  We ordered 4 burgers and a hotdog with 5 order of fries. We had to wait for the fourth burger but the other three and the hot dog were made in no time. Maybe because it is a new restaurant and the guy making the fries was dancing in the back. They gave us iced tea instead of cola but we're quick to replace it. Good burgers and hotdogs but fries could be cooked a little longer!

  Seriously impressed with this place! I've never eaten at South St. Burger before this one opening right by my house, but I was pleasantly surprised that a "fast food" burger place offered this level of quality. Finding a good vegetarian burger in Guelph is few and far between, but this place sufficed to say the least. Albeit being a bit pricier than your trustee Burger King offerings, this place was certainly worth treating yo self for. RK

  First time trying south st.'s at Guelph location and it was an amazing experience. The burger tasted super fresh and also fries were at the best quality. Definitely recommend this place to everyone.

  My fiancé and I order take out from this place, and burgers were burned tasted a lot like charcoal and they were so dry. Fries were raw and no taste at all. I had my hopes very high for this place especially for the price you would expect a better quality.
