  We went there looking for a special pasta (2 foot long spagetti) for a children's party, it was nowhere to be found. We were impressed with how clean it was and how pleasant the staff were, rather a tight fit trying to move around in the cramped space of the store though. There really was nothing high end or gourmet there. No specialty gourmet baking supplies or utensils, gourmet baking cocoas, unusual pastas or rare olive oils, etc. Just the same stuff you see in a grocery, but sold there for at least double the price! We sat there for a quick lunch, my friends grilled apple, cheese and sausage sandwich was amazing, pricey at 11 dollars though. Half of the pasta in my small dish of bland Penne Alfredo was crunchy and brown as it was burnt! What idiot burns pasta and then has the nerve to serve it and charge you 14 dollars? The chef needs to wake up! Convenient location if you live downtown I guess, or if you work downtown and you can write off the high cost as a corporate expense. Not worth a second visit.

  Its tight but mighty, really a nice classic market feel. Great food and often local vendors giving samples. Its more expensive than most grocers but when it comes to food you should always treat yourself to local quality.

  Pricey but great grocery store downtown. Nice selection of baked goods, fresh produce and meats plus speciality cooking items and ingredients. One of my favorite stores to shop when I'm.going to Cook.

  This place is very overpriced. Almost every item has a significant mark-up over the price in other Guelph grocery stores.
  
  The problem with that is that this grocery store is the only choice within walking distance for residents who live in apartments in the downtown core. Many of these people have low incomes, do not drive, and do not have access to other grocery stores. Their only place to shop is significantly more expensive than other stores in the Guelph area which they can only reach with a bus ride or taxi fare.
  
  I think that the City of Guelph should rezone this store's location and force them to act as a normal grocer and not a "Gourmet Grocery Store" and offer food that the lower income residents of Guelph can actually afford. Downtown Guelph has enough specialty food stores, this company needs to stop taking advantage of local residents.
