  Best "traditional pub" around. Inside feels incredibly homey. the irish ales and curry will make you forget all about the snow outside.

  Service felt pretty authentically English. Bar tender/server was emotionless and somewhat rude. He was more concerned with the football game on. Had the Curry buffet which was incredibly underwhelming. Over-boiled vegetables, little meat and very bland spices for even the most mild of curries. Those in our party who had food other than the buffet enjoyed the meal and said it was mostly authentic although bland like the curry.

  Food and prices are great, fresh meals are always excellent, but the buffet can be somewhat lacklustre in comparison to the amazing menu items.

  I enjoyed the food that I ordered and the service was great but the décor was very dated; this was fine for a lazy night out with my boyfriend but I don't think that I would bring someone that I was trying to impress there (sorry, darling). I'm also rather sensitive to strong smells and the whole pub smelled strongly of curry that night; if you like curry, it's great but, if you don't, be prepared to suffer.
